Get off your butt…for your brain!

Here’s an interesting post on the Ontario Brain Institute’s blog that solidifies why it is crucial that we find a way to fit movement into our daily lives.  It is good for our brain.  And last time I checked, I know I want that part of me to function as optimally as possible, for as long as possible!

What jazzed me the most is that they have proven exercise actually stimulates the production of new brain cells, or neurogenisis, which was once thought to be impossible in adults.  We all probably “know someone” who would be excited to learn this can happen, especially after those “college years.”  And subsequent ones that followed 😉
